Grant Secured to Improve Lighting at Queen Victoria Hall

Oundle Town Council is delighted to let the town know that their recent application to North Northamptonshire Council's Community Funding for upgrading the lighting at Queen Victoria Hall has been successful, with our request met in full.

This 'Levelling Up' grant is to be used to install more energy-efficient LED lighting, and so will significantly improve the current system, including providing greater flexibility for all who use the hall. Additionally, the grant will help reduce costs, and thus should help the Town Council manage the level of subsidy provided for the hall.

The work is due to start in the week of 27 August and should take less than two weeks to complete.
